Biography
Dr. Hengli Duan is a PSI-Fellow postdoc in the Spectroscopy of Quantum Materials group since July 2023. He received his PhD in 2020 from the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (NSRL), University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). After conducting postdoctoral research in the USTC, he started the visiting researcher experience in 2022 at MAXPEEM beamline at MAX IV Lab, Sweden. His research interest mainly focuses on the exotic magnetic properties and magnetic domains of layered magnetic materials and other functional quantum materials. He is also familiar with synthesizing 2D nanosheets and single crystals by CVD and CVT, and nanodevice fabrication.
Institutional Responsibilities
Conducting research on 2D materials with magnetism and other novel properties by LEEM, XPEEM, XAS, and XMCD.
