Syncat group

The research of the Syncat group is focused on the synthesis, characterization, and application of highly defined materials such as MOFs and zeolites as single-site catalysts in energy-related processes and in organic synthesis while understanding their structure-performance relations. The aim is to rationalize the catalytic properties of these catalysts by a combination of synthesis and characterization and to make them available as a useful tool for organic and organometallic transformations.

Topics of interest are: chemoselective hydrogenation, methanol reforming, methane to methanol, efficient solar to chemical energy conversion and many more.
