The SCCER Mobility expands the research and development capacities within the field of mobility. It aims to find new solutions and products with a measurable impact on energy efficiency and CO2 reduction. The SCCER Mobility is organized into two innovation fields that (A) deal with components and technologies to reduce consumption and emissions in future mobility solutions, and (B) address mobility systems on a conceptual level while taking into account their systemic environmental, economic and social effects in interaction with the full energy sector and society as a whole.
The Technology Assessment group is part of the Capacity Area B2 “Integrated Assessment of Mobility Systems” that aims at addressing the whole transportation sector, including all passenger and freight modes with an integrated, long-term perspective. The TA team will be involved in research on life cycle and environmental impact assessment, cost assessment, risk analysis, and integrative assessment.
