The Reaction Engineering of Sustainable Processes group is funded by the SNSF Ambizione grant 'Moving catalyst vs. Multi-catalyst: determination of the best reactor for the processing of unconventional feedstock'

We focus on the rational design of reactors for the safe conversion of renewable resources and waste into valuable chamicals, enhabling the establishment of new reaction pathways that ensure long term stability of the catalysts

We work with fixed- and fluidized-bed reactors, applying the most up-to-date methodologies for reactor modelling and catalyst characterisation.
