Hector Dejea (PhD student at ETH and TOMCAT) just attended the biennial FIMH conference in Toronto (Canada), which aims to integrate the state-of-the-art scientific advances in the fields cardiovascular imaging, image analysis and heart modelling fields. There, his paper “Microstructural Analysis of Cardiac Endomyocardial Biopsies with Synchrotron Radiation-based X-Ray Phase Contrast Imaging” was scheduled for an oral presentation, in which he explained the potential of this imaging technique for the quantitative analysis of relevant microstructures in cardiac biopsies.
