Our Christmas party was a truly unforgettable moment that brought us all a great deal of joy. The festively decorated room was bathed in warm light and the Christmas atmosphere was palpable from the very beginning. The scent of pine branches and mandarins was in the air and contributed to the cozy atmosphere.
The celebration began with a round of talks in the Auditorium, where Christian gave a review of the year and then informed us of many new projects and ideas for the coming year. Then it was the turn of our two new tenure track scientists to give their talks. We then took the bus to Stilli for the social part. To warm up, we enjoyed a delicious chestnut soup around a fire on the veranda. The conversations were relaxed and you could tell that everyone was leaving their stressful everyday lives behind and simply enjoying their time together. The shared laughter and good conversation made the evening particularly enjoyable. The highlight of the evening was of course the delicious Fondue, prepared by the OASE.
What was particularly nice was how the team spirit was brought to life during the evening. Everyone showed their best side, stories were told, old memories were shared and new friendships were forged. The Christmas party was a wonderful occasion to reflect on the past year together and toast to the year to come.
