The Experimental Reactor Physics Group in LRS has been tightly associated with the definition of experimental reactor
physics programmes on the versatile zero-power research reactor PROTEUS located at PSI. After its shutdown in 2012,
the experimental activities of the group shifted in part on the teaching zero-power reactor CROCUS and the irradiation
facility LOTUS, both located at the EPFL. Measurement techniques are also developed in zero-power reactors of partner
research centres (SCK.CEN and CEA). Additionally, experimental activities dedicated to spent fuel are pursued in
collaboration with the Hot-Laboratory of PSI.
