Status optics and monochromator | OK | The beamline features a double-crystal fixed-exit monochromator for X-rays in the energy range from 6 to 17 keV. A two-stage focus design is used to control X-ray beam size and divergence at sample position. Primary horizontal focusing is achieved with sagittal bending of the second crystal of the monochromator and vertical focusing is achieved by a dynamically bendable mirror. Secondary vertical/horizontal focusing is realized with a KB system. The beam is stabilized with a real-time feedback system. |
Status sample and environment | OK | The default focused beam size on the sample is 20 μm by 3 μm with fast beam size changing from 5 μm by 5 μm to 100 μm by 100 μm, smaller beams down to 2 μm by 1 μm are available upon request. Liquid nitrogen (100 K) or room temperature measurements possible. |
Status endstations and detectors | OK | EIGER 16M X (133 Hz), Ketek Fluorescence detector at the end station. |
Status sample changer TELL | OK | Sample changer in operation (30 sec sample exchange time), please refer to the TELL page. |
Status analysis tools | OK | Automatic data processing - fast_xds & goeiger.com, XDS, MOSFLM, ccp4 suite, automatic data reduction: goeiger.com |
