at Laboratory for Neutron and Muon Instrumentation
The Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Group is a group within the Laboratory for Neutron and Muon Instrumentation (LIN), Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), Division Research with Neutrons and Muons (NUM).
We design and implement the mechanics and the electronics components of scientific instruments and equipments. The main working areas are neutron instruments for SINQ and support electronics of the muon instruments at SµS. Our advantage is to have engineers, technicians, electricians and mechanics together in one group working just next door to the scientists.
