The PSI User Office serves as the central point of contact for all users of the large scale user facilities at the Paul Scherrer Institute.
The Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) hosts five state-of-the-art large-scale user facilities, positioning it as a leading research hub in condensed matter physics: a third generation X-ray synchrotron source (SLS), an X-ray free electron laser facility (SwissFEL), the only continuous spallation neutron source worldwide (SINQ), the worlds most powerful continuous-beam μSR facility (SμS) and a meson factory for fundamental nuclear and elementary particle physics (CHRISP). PSI stands out globally as one of the few places where researchers have access to all three major probes for condensed matter research (photons, neutrons and muons) - all located on a single campus.
For any inquiries before, during, or after your visit to PSI, the User Office staff are available to assist you. They can provide information and support regarding facilities, accommodations, and any other logistical matters related to your research stay at PSI.
