High resolution diffractometer
The high resolution diffractometer is located at 28 m from the source. The sophisticated two-stage focusing allows for variable beam size from 5 μm x 5 μm to 80 μm x 80 μm (with option to focus on the detector). The diffractometer has a single phi rotation axis on a high precision air-bearing rotation axis.
Detector
EIGER 16M (Dectris), a hybrid pixel counting detector enables shutterless continuous data collection at high frame rates (up to 40Hz).
Automatic sample changer
An automatic sample changer (CATS) is available for efficient sample mounting.
