Hongjian Wang is a PhD student in the X-Ray Imaging and Microscopy group at ETH Zurich and affiliated with the Swiss Light Source at the Paul Scherrer Institute since August 2023. He received his Master’s degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from Tsinghua University in June 2023. His background includes research in optics (polarization, fluorescence, photoacoustics) and low-level vision for novel sensors.

His current work focuses on integrating neuromorphic sensing and AI to advance ultrafast, time-resolved CT, enabling high-resolution 4D imaging of dynamic biological and material processes.
