PSI's Center for Nuclear Enigneering and Sciences will host the next Generation IV International Forum (GIF) meetings, in Baden Aargau.
The 53rd GIF Experts Group and 59th GIF Policy Group Meetings (EG/PG) will take place from April 7-10, 2025.
The GIF Technical Secretariat is pleased to inform of the upcoming EG-PG meetings from 7th to 11th April, 2025. This time the host is Switzerland, and the meetings will be organized by PSI's Center for Nuclear Engineering and Sciences.

The Policy Group (PG) and the Experts Group (EG), which are the primary governing bodies of GIF, convene biannually. These meetings are crucial for receiving progress updates from each GIF System Steering Committee, Working Group, and Task Force. Additionally, they are the meetings where GIF leadership to strategise and make pivotal decisions regarding the future trajectory of GIF's initiatives.
The event will be hosted by Switzerland, in Baden Aargau. The EG/PG meetings are open only to GIF members.
Generation IV International Forum (GIF) was created as a co-operative international endeavour seeking to develop the research necessary to test the feasibility and performance of fourth generation nuclear systems, and to make them available for industrial deployment by 2030.
GIF carries out its mission through its Generation IV technology specific System Steering Committees and works on cross cutting and methodological matters through its Working Groups and Task Forces.
