Biography
Alexander Pereira is a PhD Student in the X-ray imaging and microscopy group at ETH Zürich and PSI. Prior to his PhD he received his BSc. degree in medical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Lucerne and his MSc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from ETH Zürich.
Research
Alexander's research focuses on improving and optimizing the Grating-Interferometry Breast Computed-Tomography (GI-BCT) setup, specifically quantifying and analyzing grating quality, with the goal of improving image quality for initial clinical trials.
