PSI is located in the northern part of Switzerland, between the cities of Basel and Zurich and approximately 10km south of the Swiss-German border. The next cities and railway stations are Baden and Brugg. Periodical flight- and train connections to Zurich and Basel are available from all European cities. More detailed info.

Arrival at PSI West Entrance

Pick up your access badge and parking permission at the Security Desk at Entrance West. You need the access badge to open the main door of the Guest House.

Check-in to the Guest House during the day

You will receive your room key at the reception in the Guest House. The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 8.00 – 12.00 a.m. and 01.00 – 05.00 p.m.

Check-in to the Guest House after 05.00 p.m. or on weekends/holidays

You will receive your access badge, parking permission and your room key for the Guest House at the Security Desk at Entrance West. Please use the intercom system located at PSI West Entrance in order to contact the security guard.

 

Users
As a guest of the Guest House or user of the PSI large scale facilities you receive a parking permission upon arrival at the security desk. This permission is valid for a maximum of two weeks.
Please park your car in the yellow zone and place the parking permission under the windshield.
Parking cards from ETH Institutes are also valid.
 
Employees
PSI employees may apply for their parking permisson at the security desk on the east site. If you arrive before your first working day at PSI, please contact us.
