Fuel Simulation

In light of the climate change and the fact that surface transportation heavily relies on internal combustion engines, many different alternatives to gasoline have been proposed. To estimate their suitability as replacement for gasoline a model of an spark-ignition engine has been developed. This model only includes first order effects and thereby allows for a quick and efficient estimation of the suitability of a certain compound as gasoline replacement.
