Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is used at PSI as a central communication platform. In addition to other functions such as chat or telephony, MS Teams also offers the option of making audio or video calls. Both individual and group calls are possible. Meetings can be spontaneous or scheduled as a meeting with a calendar entry.

MS Teams as software for video conferencing offers, among other things: 

  • Direct call / group calls (audio/video)
  • chat
  • Planning of meetings including Outlook calendar integration
  • screen sharing
  • Recording of the meeting
  • Application for desktop / mobile

And much more.

Teams is installed by default on all IT devices managed by PSI. If this is not the case, you can download the required software from the software kiosk. For devices that are not managed by PSI, MS Teams can be obtained directly from Mircosoft.
It is also possible to use the web app in a browser.

Login is based on the principle of multi-factor authentication (MFA). You will need your PSI login details (user name and password) and the Authenticator app on your smartphone. You can find detailed instructions on how to set up MFA here.
