This setup uses a Nd:YAG-laser (1064 nm) with up to 2.5 W output and a standard Michelson interferometer. It is manufactured by ThermoFisher and is equipped with an InGaAs-detector and a high sensitivity Ge-detector. It is suitable for standard experiments with liquid or solid samples. For in-situ studies at high pressures and temperatures we use a cell with a sapphire window suitable up to 400° and 400 bar, manufactured by SITEC. To avoid thermal effects on the spectra the setup is equipped a beam-chopper and a lock-in amplifier to acquire demodulated spectra in the step-scan mode (SST).
