The chart below shows the timeline of the IMPACT project. The key elements are:

  • Realisation of the project during the ERI funding period 2025-2028.
  • Long shutdown of the HIPA accelerator and all its connected facilities for ~1.5 years starting in January 2027.
  • First beam for HIMB mid-2028.
  • First beam for TATTOOS mid-2030.
