IMPORTANT! On November 28, 2024 the Federal Department of Justice and Police FDJP decided to adjust metrology fees in line with inflation. The Ordinance on Verification and Inspection Fees in Metrology was revised accordingly. The new fees will take effect on January 1, 2025 and amount to:
- CHF 173 for dose rate monitors with up to 10 measurement points and surface contamination monitors for up to 4 nuclides
- CHF 347 for dose rate monitors for environmental monitoring, standard ionization chambers, devices with multiple detectors or for multiple radiation qualities.
- CHF 347 for surface contamination monitors for more than 4 nuclides
The Calibration Laboratory has also introduced a flat-rate fee of CHF 50 for the postal dispatch of measuring instruments, which will also be effective from 1.1.2025.
The costs for calibrations and irradiations remain unchanged.
