Dr. Helmut Schift, head of polymer nanotechnology group of LMN and consultant for research integrity at PSI, received the Comenius medal on 27 June 2019 in Berlin. The Comenius-EduMedia-Award is granted for outstanding examples of digital educational media .
PSI's web-based course «Ethics in Research» was conceived under the lead of former PSI consultant for research integrity Dr. Louis Tiefenauer, the e-learning provider FKC Schweiz (represented by Dr. Gerold Schmidt) and the PSI Learning Academy. Since 2018, it is offered as part of the mandatory training for PhD students and, since 2019, also for postdocs.
