Scenario analysis of integrated decentralized energy hubs and microgrids
The IDEAS4cities project focuses on integrated decentralized energy production and use, based around the concepts of small-scale energy hubs and microgrids that can realise optimal control functionalities. In this project, optimal system configurations that integrate energy hubs and microgrids in urban energy systems will be designed and analyzed based on different scenarios. EEG is contributing to the development and analysis of energy system scenarios with a large contribution of decentralized generation, with the goal to identify concrete cases where such integrated systems could be attractive.
