Plagiarism

Plagiarism is understood as the complete or partial imitation of the work of another author without citing the relevant source. Plagiarism is a severe violation of research integrity and good scientific practice. To avoid plagiarism and to ensure the quality of the scientific publication, documents can be checked for duplication and attribution using the PlagScan Service offered by the library: (https://www.lib4ri.ch/services/plagiarism-check.html). PSI internal experts provide support for the review of the plagiarism check report. All supervisors are encouraged to increase the awareness on this topic especially to young academics. All information about PSI internal courses and workshops as well as the guidelines on research integrity at PSI please can be found on PSI intranet.

This expert can be contacted at all research integrity issues in the ETH-domain.
