In addition to the permanent staff a considerable number of guest researchers, students and postdocs receive the opportunity to extend their knowledge in proton therapy. We train colleagues from all over the world in the fields of technology and physics as well as in medical physics and medicine. We also offer international training courses.
PSI Winterschool
CPT offers a 4-day training course in proton therapy, which takes place every year in January. Lectures in basic science, clinical experience and new technologies are on the program, as well as the possibility to visit the radiation facilities at the Center for Proton Therapy at PSI. Lectures on Medical Physics
The medical physics section of CPT is affiliated with the physics department of ETH in Zurich and is involved in the teaching of medical physics at bachelors and masters level. CPT members of staff hold lectures at a number of medical physics courses in accordance with the physics curriculum at ETH, and contribute as co-directors to both, the Medical Physics Master of Advanced Studies and the medical physics track of the master’s program in Biomedical Engineering at ETH.
