Indications

Reimbursement of proton therapy costs for the following diseases (indications) are mandatory for Swiss health insurance providers:

Deep-seated tumors:

  • Meningiomas (benign and malignant)
  • Low-grade Gliomas (grade 1 and 2)
  • Tumors in the base of skull and head &neck area (H&N tumors)
  • Sarcomas, Chordomas und Chondrosarcomas
  • Pediatric Tumors

Eye tumors:

  • Uveal Melanomas
  • Hemangiomas
  • Metastases in the eye
  • Melanomas of the conjunctiva and iris
