- Steady-state and transient modelling of a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) conceptual design
- Multi-cycle depletion analysis of the SMR models with conventional low-order solvers
- Characterization of the SMR operating conditions and fuel compositions at different cycle(s) stages with low- and higher-order/higher-resolution transport solvers
- Multi-physics analysis of the SMR core for different transient scenarios using nodal diffusion and higher-order neutron transport solvers
- Preparation of scientific publications and technical reports
- Participation in an international project and associated meetings
Your profile
- PhD degree in reactor physics, nuclear engineering, or physics
- Experience in programming and scripting, specifically under Linus / Unix environment
- Solid background in LWR core quasi-static and transient neutronic simulations
- Background in high-performance computations
- Fluency in spoken and written English
