Childcare at PSI and Surrounding Area

The Nanolino daycare center is located on the grounds of the Paul Scherrer Institute. Nanolino offers all-day care (7:30-18:00) for children from the age of three months until the end of elementary school. We have 4 mixed-age toddler groups where we provide integrated care for kindergarten children and school children. We also offer after-school care for kindergarten children and school children.

The Swiss Red Cross Aargau offers a service (max. 2 days) by taking care of sick or injured children whose parents are working and cannot stay away from work. Some health insurance companies (e.g. the ÖKK) cooperate with the SRC and pay for this service. (info sheet , only available in german)

The kihz foundation (Kinderbetreuung im Hochschulraum Zürich) offers interesting theme weeks during the school holidays for children aged 5 to 12 years, during which the children are looked after all day. This offer is also open to children of PSI employees living in the Zurich area.
