Your tasks
- Develop and execute experimental programs in novel X-ray imaging methods using PSI's Swiss Light Source as well as advanced lab-based sources.
- Plan long-term research initiatives in translational X-ray imaging for medical and other applications.
- Lead lab operations, training, and mentoring junior researchers.
- Supervise PhD students and postdocs, ensuring their development.
- Co-manage projects, aligning with organizational goals.
- Secure funding and lead collaborations with academic and industrial partners.
- Author and present technical reports and papers.
Your profile
- PhD in physics, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, or related field.
- Experience in X-ray imaging techniques and developing novel methods.
- Hands-on experience in imaging system development and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Competent in training and mentoring young scientists.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
