Electron Microscopy & Diffraction Group

The EM & D group has two different functions: as a first priority, we are running and developing the electron microscopy facility (EMF) of PSI. Our second priority, performing research, is strongly linked to the facility. I.e. our research is either focusing on method development and implementation, in order to expand the capabilities at EMF, or consists of collaborations with researchers from PSI, from universities in Switzerland or abroad, as well as with companies. Regarding methods development and implementation we currently have a special focus on diffractive techniques.
