Evgenia Tsianou

With over 10 years of experience in science communication, public engagement, and outreach, Evgenia has contributed to diverse initiatives designed to elevate public engagement with cutting-edge environmental projects across Europe. As the Founder of DISSCO and Science Communicator and Project Assistant at Paul Scherrer Institute in the www.sweet-sure.ch project, she applies her project management expertise to create and deliver innovative science communication strategies, utilizing storytelling, citizen science, and playful activities. She collaborates with Swiss and European leading innovation centers and scientific institutions (EIT Food, Climate-KIC) and holds an extended network of expert scientists, communities, and startups. Known for addressing complex scientific issues with playful activities, audio storytelling, and citizen science, she engages people through digital channels, in-person events, and communities. An authentic initiator who blends passion for sustainability with professional pursuits, she drives innovation in science communication and is committed to democratizing research and making science participatory for all. Evgenia holds a Master's in Atmospheric and Climate Science from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, and a degree in Environmental Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.
