Naima Chabouni is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Energy Economics Group at the Laboratory for Energy Systems Analysis, part of the PSI Center for Nuclear Engineering and Sciences.

Her research focuses on energy economics, modeling and optimization, macroeconomics, econometrics, and statistical analysis. At PSI her work is part of the SCENE project. This joint initiative has established a Center of Excellence that covers a wide range of research areas related to net-zero emissions and provides a network for cross-institutional collaboration. Naima's work involved Performing cutting-edge research related to the integration of variable renewable energy technology and related flexibility options in the energy system, Development and application of the Swiss TIMES Energy systems Model by advancing its temporal and spatial resolution and the technology characteristics for supply- and demand-side flexibility measures.
