Around 400 groups per year use the unique opportunity to gain insight into a modern research institute – the Paul Scherrer Institute. Associations, companies and school classes experience research live.
Would you like to organise a group tour? We offer customised tours for groups of 12 participants and more. These tours are free of charge and should be booked approx. 4 weeks in advance. Subject to confirmation by the PSI Visitor Center team, this offer is available from Monday to Friday. The latest start for a big tour is 4 pm. All of our tours are free of charge.
The short introduction in the PSI Visitor Center gives a brief insight into the Paul Scherrer Institute and its main areas of research. After an overview presentation on the Institute's activities and one of our 3D films, 13 interactive theme islands in the exhibition invite you to get to know the main research areas in greater depth.
Please note that this program does not include a tour of our research facilities.
This short program is offered for groups of 12 to 50 people and is available in German, English or French (other languages by arrangement).
The offer is particularly suitable for groups with a limited time budget or restricted mobility.
The latest start time for a short introduction is 17:30.
