For the Membranes & Electrochemical Cells Group we are looking for a

Tenure-Track Scientist for next Generation Ionomers and Membranes

Your tasks

  • Research on next generation hydrocarbon-based ionomers and membranes for electrochemical energy conversion devices (fuel cells, electrolyzers)
  • Conceptualize and implement research topics (acidic and/or alkaline chemistry)
  • Acquire research funds
  • Supervise undergraduate student projects and co-supervise PhD students and post-doctoral research fellows
  • Publish scholarly articles and disseminate results at conferences and workshops

Your profile

  • PhD degree in chemistry, polymer or macromolecular chemistry
  • Scientific track record in post-doctoral research study or industrial setting
  • Excellent command of written and oral English
  • Established publication track record
  • Background in electrochemistry is an asset
  • Experience with teaching helpful
